Documentary about the production process of the first feature film that is completely spoken in Friesian: De dream. In this `making of', interviews with director Pieter Verhoeff are alternated with set shots and scenes from the film. The film also sheds light on the constant incompatibility between the filmmaker's ideas and the limited financial means.
