In associative ways, this found footage film shares a view on humanity that is sometimes playful, sometimes gloomy. Kaleidoscopic, to any extent. From hundreds of hours of video and sound material from very different sources, Han Hoezen constructed a wry depiction of us, humans. Hoezen edited and combined the material in such a way that a new context arose. Always with the central question at the back of his mind: In which stage of the evolution are we, miraculous, strange beings, actually?
