A decade ago, a group of eight idealistic adventure seekers went to Norway in a self-built boat to watch aurora borealis. But what begins as an adventurous trip on the high seas turns into a grim psychological drama. The group disintegrates and three members disappear. Using home videos and interviews with survivors and other witnesses, filmmaker Wim van der Aar reconstructs the journey that forever changed the lives of the five who returned and follows their quest for closure.
