Sinister stop-motion film about three miniature people from a 1980s TV show: Wander to Wonder. After their creator’s demise, they continue with the show. As their hunger grows, the show becomes increasingly grim.
The miniature people Mary, Billybutt and Fumbleton star in the 1980s animated children’s series Wander to Wonder. After the creator dies, they are left alone in the studio. While their costumes gradually wear out and their hunger grows, they keep making ever stranger episodes for their fans. This stop-motion animation was selected for the 2023 Venice Film Festival. Director Nina Gantz previously clinched a BAFTA for Edmond, her graduation film at the London Film and TV Academy.
