A short thriller drama in which Hosam is pressured by the Iranian secret service to choose between saving his imprisoned brother in Iran or murdering an innocent man.
In this debut film, the Iranian Ahwazi refugee Hosam (23) receives an ominous phone call from the Iranian secret service about his brother, who is imprisoned in Iran. Hosam learns that his brother is accused of ‘Waging War against God’, a charge that in Iran usually leads to the death penalty. The secret service gives Hosam an ultimatum: if he wants to save his brother, he must kill the human rights lawyer Said. In an inner struggle between loyalty to his family and preserving his moral integrity, Hosam is forced to make an impossible choice.
