Director Amir Razi uses his own experiences as a refugee in this drama about the friendship between ten-year-old Sara and her contemporary Rachid from Somalia, who lives on a refugee boat in Rotterdam. Rachid's parents are dead and Sara's mother is much too busy with her work, so both children seek out each other's company in their hiding place in the woods. When the truth about the death of Rachid's parents emerges, he hears he has to leave the country.
