Geertje Hadderingh’s parents are divorced and she has never seen a photograph of them together. What does this mean for her and the way she looks at love, she wonders.
What is the meaning of love in a time when people separate more and more often? In this short ego-documentary, director Geertje Hadderingh searches for a photograph showing her divorced parents together. Meanwhile, she asks people who are directly involved why this seemingly happy couple separated so suddenly. Shortly before the shooting period, her mother calls off the interview. But can the filmmaker find answers if her mother is not prepared to participate?
