Voor even Napoleon

Director: Bart van Esch
Dutch-German co-production. Forklift driver Wolfgang Krone has waited for thirty years for the breakthrough as a director and schmaltzy pop singer. He wrote, directed and produced Die Erinnerungen des Grenadiers Rousseau, a full-length feature film on 8mm about Napoleon's Russian campaign, even playing the role of Napoleon himself. With a great deal of ambition and perseverance, he executes his scheme to be recognised as an artist and to find the right wife to share it all with.
