Based on the autobiographical novel by the Dutch choreographer Rudi van Dantzig. A choreographer looks back on a significant event in his life in the starvation winter of 1944-45. In hiding in Friesland, little Jeroen meets a Canadian soldier. A sexual affair develops between the child and the soldier.
