When two friendly couples, along with their two teenage daughters, follow their tradition of sharing a holiday home in the Alps, both daughters end up in a serious accident. As the girls fight for their lives, the seemingly close friendship between their parents begins to unravel. The couples become entangled in a battle awash with manipulation and fear. Old wounds are reopened, frustrations vented. When you're fighting for your child, the end justifies any means. But where do you draw a line? A gripping drama, featuring Thekla Reuten, Fedja van Huêt, Valentijn Dhaenens and Noortje Herlaar.

Oscar and Golden Calf winner Mike van Diem directed and wroteOur Girls based on Lykele Muus’ novel We doen wat we kunnen (We Do What We Can). Our Girls is produced by Keplerfilm and Nuts & Bolts Film Company and distributed by Dutch FilmWorks. The cast features Noortje Herlaar, Fedja van Huêt, Thekla Reuten, Valentijn Dhaenens, Rosa van Leeuwen and Fréderique van Baarsen.

Public Opening on Friday 26 September
• the 18:30 screening at the Blue Hall of the Utrecht City Theatre will be introduced in the presence of the cast & crew.
• the 18:30 screening at Louis Hartlooper Complex 2 is with Dutch subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. In addition, a Dutch sign language interpreter will be active during the screening.
• the 18:45 screening at Louis Hartlooper Complex 3 is with English subtitles. The introduction, attended by the cast & crew, will also be in English.
• the other public openings are without the cast & crew.
