Humanist counsellor Jacob and imam Omar work as chaplains in a prison. They support men convicted of very serious offences. In a closed-off world dominated by hierarchy, reputation and masculine codes, they create a space where vulnerability and reflection become possible. They come from different worldviews and belief traditions, but find common ground in their shared search for humanity. In individual conversations and group sessions, they ask the inmates questions that are rarely spoken aloud within prison walls. What is guilt, and does forgiveness exist? And if so, for whom?
