Short film, made during the 23rd Netherlands Film Festival (2003), featuring Guest of the Year Jan Decleir. Decleir plays an explicator of silent movies. While the projector rattles, he treats his audience to films from an extensive collection of old film dramas. But his impassioned explications go off the rails when his performance is disturbed by some latecomers, who nevertheless want to get in. Monic Hendrickx is his muse Louise Vetringa, starring in the silent film Ketens der liefde.
