Sometimes friendship arises in the most unexpected of ways, as in this award-winning animation about loneliness and fear of the unknown. Its unique visual style combines cut-out photo elements with 3D animation.
Lonely teenager Yo throws tomatoes out of frustration and accidentally hits Lydia, an older woman with a disability. He rushes to help her, and soon discovers that Lydia isn't quite as helpless as she seems. Slowly but surely, the line between perpetrator and victim begins to blur. Winner of Best Short Film at the Kaboom Animation Festival.
