Van Nelle's reclamefilms

Series of four commercials for Van Nelle tobacco and coffee. In the first film, Filmstudie, a filmmaker creates a collage of men of all casts who smoke pipe-tobacco. De wijsgeer shows a philosopher formulating a pessimistic proposition, but revising it after a sip of Van Nelle coffee. Van Nelle kwaliteit is an animated film in which a coffeepot, to a housewife's great annoyance, will only accept the pre-packaged coffee by Van Nelle. Wat een oude zeeman vertelde is also an animated film. A pipe-smoking sailor tells the ship boys how Van Nelle tobacco once saved his life, when he was threatened by cannibals.
