Australian remake of the successful Dutch film De Poolse Bruid by Karim Traïda. In this version, Monic Hendrickx again plays the leading part, this time as the Afghan refugee Tahmeena. When she, critically wounded, stumbles onto the surly widower John's isolated farm, he gives her shelter. They both have their individual traumas, but gradually they grow towards one another and eventually fight social evils side by side.
