An app that puts you on a CO2 diet, how bad could that be? Quite bad, because when their quotum is exhausted, a bloodbath awaits users. Still, things stay cheerful – as we’ve come to expect from animation trio Job, Joris and Marieke.
When every earthling is added to a compulsory programme that keeps a tally of how much they are allowed to consume and how much CO2 they can emit, it makes little if any impression. Initially, that is. The barbecue is poked up, the airplane is packed, cars on the highway keep emitting fumes and people do not shower any shorter. Until the users find out they cannot remove the app, and that 'reaching the quotum' has quite dramatic consequences, as this luckily still cheerful animation shows.
