A visual poem about hope and unfulfilled wishes: from the cradle to the grave. Quite personal perhaps, but perhaps that is what makes it so universal.
This animation follows different anonymous characters; from their first wish as new-borns to their last prayers, they use various wish rituals that reflect universal emotions like frustration, determination, devotion and hope. Who listens to our prayers and why do we keep nursing hope? Please Make My Wish Come True shows moments of both despair and faith in the form of a visual poem: an exploration of the personal, but also common aspects of devout rituals.
