The jigsaw puzzle is finished bar one piece, when a naughty mouse runs off with the loot. In no time flat, the whole family is in an uproar and things turn into one big zoo, in this animation.
Grandpa has dozed off, but little Maud can finish the jigsaw puzzle. The final piece, depicting cheese, is seized by a mouse at the last moment. In this film, partly in stop-motion, this triggers a mad chain of escalating events, when all family members and quite a few farm animals wreak havoc. Who claimed that puzzles had a soothing effect?
