A stop-motion musical in which garbage dumped beside a container no longer believes it is trash. Singing and dancing, they reclaim their (self-)esteem.
On a downtown street corner, a pile of dumped trash lies around two garbage containers. An old mattress sadly speaks up: ‘They say I’m dirty...’ The broken mirror, the discarded painting and other counterparts reveal the sad reasons why they have been literally side-lined. Next, a newspaper is lifted up by the wind and in the spotlight of a streetlamp it seems to dance. This teaches other refuse items to look at themselves in a positive light and they burst into song and dance, in this stop-motion musical.
