Tuin der driften

Director: Daphne Severeijns
Absurdist short film in which two opposite neighbours enter into a rivalry to determine who has the nicest front garden, while passers-by add fuel to the fire.
The 75-year-old Cor spends his days perfecting his front garden. His daily routine is disturbed when Theo moves into the dilapidated house across the street. Theo decides to spruce up his own front yard, literally making the grass greener on the other side of the fence. In this graduation film, this sparks a fierce competition for the nicest garden, while passers-by put their oars in. But of course this story has a moral.
