Alec knows intimacy mainly from behind the camera of his father's porn business. When his new classmate Nina challenges him to open up, he discovers that real intimacy calls for something else entirely.
Introverted Alec grows up in a world shaped by his father's porn films, which dominate his daily life. Since his mother's death, he's helped out behind the camera, and any other kind of existence has felt far out of reach. After a move, he gets the chance to start over. He meets Nina, who upends his views on relationships and intimacy. Slowly, Alec discovers that real intimacy isn't about what you see, but about what you dare to feel. Truly Naked already garnered considerable acclaim at the Berlinale.
