The aristocratic hippie family Flatz inhabits a medieval tower near Salzburg, Austria. The British grandmother Prunella bought the tower after World War II. Now, she lives here with her son Martin, his wife Ulrike and their two children Sirius and Isis. No one in the family has ever worked for money, but the family fortune is dwindling and the children now face the daunting task to preserve the tower for their family. Frankly and with a sense of drama and humour, the Flatz family speaks about their life, money, art, love, ignorance and dreams.
