As his new film project progresses, director John Mule’s professional interest in his actress turns into an obsession. Slowly, the boundaries between play and reality fade.

The esteemed director John Mule is working on a new project. The auditions at the beginning of the black-and-white film - in the dark, only showing the actresses - produce his new muse: Merry. Soon, his professional interest in her turns into an obsession. The film switches between the set and Mule’s life beyond, where Merry plays an ever bigger role. As the film progresses, the boundaries between play and reality fade.
