Roadmovie about two friends who have to deliver a package on time.
Feature shot with an international cast about two friends forced to earn some money fast after they lost all their money. Alfred, his wife Anna and Guy decide to work as drug couriers for the drugs baron Spike in Amsterdam. They have to take a package to Spain. It looks like a piece of cake, until it becomes apparent that the delivery has to be performed according to a strict schedule. In five phone calls on the way they have to tell Spike the exact time. Anna is used by Spike as security in case the handing over should go wrong or they miss a call. Everything seems to go according to plan until a car falls from the air and lands in front of theirs. A woman crawls from the wreckage and the men find themselves in deep water. Feature film debut by director Roel Reiné won the 1999 Golden Calf for Best Director.
