After the devastating earthquake in her native country, a young Japanese woman in the Netherlands is in the dark about her mother’s fate. While she muddles on in her job in Amsterdam, she receives a package her mother sent before the disaster. The woman keeps recording voice messages to her mother. Initially, she remains optimistic, but in the course of the week it gets harder and harder.
