Milad, an Iranian asylum seeker, and Jurre, a Dutch student, meet in a gay club and later become friends. It turns out there are big differences between the two, which leads to serious miscommunication.
During the endless wait at the Amsterdam asylum seekers’ centre (azc), the gay Iranian Milad (30) tries to make the best of it with his friends. For the Persian New Year, he wants to organise a poetry night at the azc. At the same time, the gay Jurre (24) begins his work placement at the Central Organ for Asylum Seekers (COA).
