Dzifa Kusenuh struggles with dreams that sometimes become frighteningly real. Her father thinks these are visions. When they travel to Ghana together, the question is whether or not she will embrace her father’s spiritual heritage.
Although the dreams frighten her and dissuade her from embracing her father’s Vodu religion, Dzifa bravely decides to join him on her first trip to the mystical spirit world of Ghana. It is a decision that will determine her whole identity and her future. She hopes she can use this spiritual trip to make a connection with her ancestors, and finally conquer the fear that haunts her. This documentary shows Dzifa's need to become whole again, while developing a deeper bond with both her father and her own intuition.
