Short documentary about a group of idealist friends in squats in Amsterdam. When the squatters’ collective falls apart, the filmmaker decides to confront them with her disappointment.
At one time, a group of friends from Amsterdam who call themselves the ‘Kinderen van Møkum’, decided to - literally - claim a place for themselves in their native city. Chased by police and press, they move from squat to squat with great conviction. But living together in such a large group and the many deficiencies of the buildings start demanding their toll:the momentum of the protest movement seems gone. The filmmaker, disappointedly witnessing these developments in her personal documentary, decides to confront the young idealists with this.
