As usual, Edward Luyken has his sculptures of rock and steel play a role in his film. Images of a city and water are contrasted with those of the country (side). Purely registering shots are alternated with animation and performance-like intermezzos. The camera moves constantly, the tempo varies from fast to slow. The alienating effect of the lack of logical coherence is enhanced by the experimental soundtrack.
