In this short coming-of-age film, teenager Violeta finds a way to revive her deceased mother’s synth equipment. The consequences for her, the city and her father are surprisingly drastic.
April 1989. A teenager who lives with her father in a village near Mexico City tries to finish a song her mother composed before she died. The old synthesizers still work perfectly, and everything goes well until Violeta incidentally causes a power failure that brings the whole city to a standstill. This has serious consequences for her and her father. A short film made in Mexico about mourning and how music can even connect people beyond death.
