Fifteen-year-old Meis lives with her parents and grandma in the bend of a road. The teenage girl dreams of a grand and compelling life, but her only chance of some bustle is the first car that misses the turn and rams the housefront. In the meantime, Meis explores her sexual identity and entertains herself with her own dreams. The family is waiting for the inevitable. This drama about dealing with change, letting go and maturing is based on Do van Ranst’s Flemish children’s novel Mijn vader zegt dat wij levens redden.
