Young teenager Francesca finds comfort in her childhood, after a holiday friend abandons her in favour of a group of local youths. Why does everyone around her seem to be in such a rush to grow up?
Every summer, Italian Francesca (12) spends a few weeks with her Dutch friend Alice, who holidays in her village. But this year, something has changed. Alice is more interested in the local youths than in spending time with Francesca. Alice even seems to have outgrown Francesca, who is still clinging to her childhood. But whether that's really true remains to be seen, in this sensitive coming-of-age story.
