Documentary about the demise of an Antillean baseball player. Judsel Baranco, probably the greatest baseball talent ever in the Netherlands, was banished from the Dutch team at the height of his career for undisciplined behaviour. The sportsman then moved from club to club and became addicted to drugs. In the end he was out of control and, left to his fate by trainers, family and friends, he ended up in jail for a while. Since then little more has been heard of him. Strike Out is a cinematographic quest into how and why Baranco dropped out. A man who could have been an example for his fellow countrymen ruined everything through his urge for self-destruction.
