Absurdist short film in which etiquette expert Tilda does her best to climb the social ladder. During an elite dinner, she is confronted with the fact she will never be considered an equal.
Tilda (62) is an etiquette coach who devotes her life to studying the elite, their ways and customs, with only one goal: climbing the social ladder. She reaches the pinnacle of her career when she is invited to ‘The Association’. However, upon entering, she discovers that the world of prosperous socialites is full of unexpected challenges. Is all her knowledge based on lies? This debut sheds light on the relationship between ‘the other’ and the prevailing norm, where the norm is constantly defining the position of ‘the other’.
