Short crime comedy in which an incompetent police officer and his naïve trainee end up in the midst of the arrest of a major criminal. They want to provide assistance, but mainly threaten to get in the way.
After an appeal by Dutch colleagues, police officer Gerard van Dongen, currently ‘detailed’ to Belgium, responds immediately, with his youthful, inexperienced assistant Servaas in his wake. In this crime comedy, the duo ends up in the attempted arrest of a major criminal, an operation led by Gerard’s former colleagues. They are not exactly happy with the prompt assistance, as Gerard is known to be incompetent. Will Gerard, with his unconventional style, manage to gloriously redeem himself?
