Coming-of-age documentary about three adolescent boys, dealing in different ways with the physical and mental obstacles surrounding them in their Palestinian native city Hebron.
Brothers Amer and Anas keep pigeons on their roof in the old Palestinian city of Hebron. While the birds fly around free, the brothers are watched by Israeli settler neighbours and checkpoint soldiers near their parental home. Marwaan lives in a street across an Israeli settlement. He contests human rights violations in his neighbourhood by filming the conflicts. This coming-of-age documentary, shot in Hebron over five years, shows these boys’ challenges and expectations in their formative years.
