Fascinating video for Human by the Dutch-Iranian phenomenon Sevdaliza. She and director Adjei jointly created the concept for a video in which she appears to be not as human as she claims in her lyrics.
The originally Iranian singer/artist Sevdaliza and director Emmanuel Adjei jointly created the concept for this artistic video for Human. She plays a mysterious figure who, dressed in a habit, enters a large space with a sand floor. On the balcony overlooking the space are men watching like voyeurs how she drops her cloak and starts dancing seductively. It turns out she is not fully human, after all, even though Sevdaliza repeatedly sings ‘I am human’.
