Luyken found the blocks of basalt for his sculpture Seascape near the sea wall at IJmuiden, but remained uneasy about it for a long time. He combines shots of the sculpture, made of loose stones, with animation sequences and shots of his red canoe. A fast-cut film to angular, jazzy music with many close-ups and a lively camera. Only after a trip to Sweden by his sons, the sculptor calmed down.
