In the latest film by Australian Dutchman Paul Cox, Barry is quite fed up with his wife Gloria and her religious TV show Servant of Salvation. With the Russian prostitute Irina, Barry finds the warmth he lacks with Gloria. The latter turns her mind to her assistant Tony, who is also her prop and stay during TV performances, when he prompts nice bible quotes. But how can Barry save Irina from a violent fellow-Russian who continuously threatens her?
