The introverted Bo, looking for connection, meets a peer for the first time. In this youth film about self-esteem and social expectations, she is determined to prove to her judgemental neighbours that she is more than just shy.
Bo (9) is the only child in a street full of extraverted grownups. They think she is rather timid, and her parents vainly try to include her in the group. But the imaginative Bo prefers to write in her self-made 'mencyclopaedia'. When for the first time another child moves into a house in her street, she decides to show her judgemental neighbours another side of herself: she will become friends with the new girl next door. A graduation film about the silent power of the introvert and the magic of fantasy.
