Medical Checkup is a story without words. A teacher presents himself at an annual medical examination. He is conducted swiftly and efficiently through a number of medical tests in a modern clinic. After the initial checkup has been finished he has to wait until the X-rays have been developed. When the door of the examination room is opened again, he notices that two psycicians are discussing the X-rays of his lungs. He is brought back into the examination circuit and is rushed from one apparatus to the other. His astonishment gradually turns into fear and even terror... Maybe he has become the victim of technical or human failure, but more and more the teacher becomes convinced that he suffers from a serious disease. Back in his cubicle he has become a sick and broken man.
