Short regional drama with actors from the RO Theatre and real Rotterdam people. About a garbage collector who participates in a poetry contest and, despite his efforts, runs into his creative limits.
For twenty years, garbage collectors in Rotterdam have been driving around with lines of poetry on their trucks. In a contest, the collectors now get a chance to write a verse themselves. Jos is one of them. The film follows him in his attempts to produce some poetry. He reads books and pays a visit to a real poet for inspiration, but writing poetry turns out to be quite hard.
