The tenth anniversary of the Urban Renewal department of the City of Rotterdam was the reason for making Rotterdam drieluik (Rotterdam Trilogy), three short films based on episodes in the history of the service. Turkse Video (Turkish Video) tells about a Turkish man in a demolition area in Rotterdam who seeks refuge in heroic video dreams that take place in his native country. In reality, he is torn apart by qualms. Awarded a Golden Calf in 1985.
