This drama series follows best friends Aisha and Farah, who live together in Rotterdam. How can they conquer their fears, and reconcile the expectations of their family with their individual dreams?
As second- and third-generation migrants’ children in Rotterdam, Aisha (25) and Farah (24) share not only a home, but also their quest for happiness and self-discovery. This search runs parallel to that of their best friend Orlando (27), who opens a pub in their neighbourhood, hoping to fulfil his dreams. But this won’t happen without a struggle. Contending with the expectations of their environment, not only the girls’ friendship, but also their relationship with their parents and Orlando is put under pressure, in this drama series.
