Rosie: The Devil in My Head

Director: Patrice Toye
Rosie (13) is cheeky yet fragile and she lives with her young mother in an apartment building in a soulless working-class area. Life is not easy; they can only just make ends meet. Rosie's mother is always away and her uncle, addicted to gambling, causes plenty of trouble. The girl flees from her sad surroundings. In an idyllic world of fantasy she reveals in an exchange of letters with her boyfriend, the street kid Jimi, her mysterious past.
