With this experimental homage to dining cars from the 1960s and 1970s, Arianne Olthaar attests to her fascination with unusual interiors. The cars rock softly to the cadence of the wheels. There are no passengers. We are alone with the snug tables, the fitted bar stools, the little flower vases and the curtains in surreal colours. Shot in Eastern European trains, on super8, which gives the images a dreamlike touch.
