Nothing more human than... the robot. In this video installation full of schadenfreude videos, the flesh-and-blood protagonists have been replaced by mechanical ones. Witty, but also food for thought.
Reinforced Learning deploys artificial intelligence to replace the human factor with robot clones in fail videos popular on social media. After all, if the prevailing principle is 'garbage in, garbage out', then artist Jeroen van Loon thinks it is high time to put some more rubbish in the system. Learning from the 'wrong' input, in other words: human imperfection. The adapted videos thus paint an alienating picture of the future: now it is not we humans who make illogical and irrational mistakes, but rather the robots.
