Random Runner

Director: Peter Scholten
Random Runner, named after a well-known gambling machine, combines the styles of a feature film and a current affairs programme, the fictional Naast het Nieuws, to visualise the hypnotising effect of gambling. A few housewives talk to the camera about their gambling addiction, with pale faces that contrast with the vivid colours of the machine.
