Episode film based on the novel Rainbow Stories by the American writer William T. Volmann, for which producer Studio N invited nine young directors of various nationalities to make contributions of about ten minutes, shot in black and white and then coloured. Contributions by Janneque Draisma, Barbara Hanlo and Marc Geerards (Holland), Harald Busch (Germany), Bafo Defurne (Belgium), Alessandro Aiello/Cane Capovolta (Italy), Damon Barr/Ann Ferral (U.K.)
