Director: Dylan Werkman
When he is about to become a parent, David makes overtures to his own father in hopes of coming to terms with the family trauma overshadowing their lives.
When his daughter’s birth is forthcoming, David hopes to reconnect with his own father Kees. Eager to come to terms with a long-buried family secret, he invites his dad to an afternoon in a wellness centre. However, in the shadow of his recently deceased grandfather, David is afraid he will convey the trauma of the past to his future daughter. A short film about coping with a painful family history.
